CanBot

We received a grant from Novelis & Ball to create a can crushing CanBot. We worked on the design during winter break and finalized manufacturing and assembly during the season. 

Our CanBot utilizes a metal Geneva mechanism to control the rotation and a 3D printed Scottish Yoke to time the crushing arm. We used recycled aluminum to create the custom crushing press.
